Athens from an aerial view:big traffic! A young man is chased as a bank robber in a confused state and he will be saved by a motorcyclist who later will fall in love with the young man's mother(Irene Papas). The motorcyclist claims to be a cousin to Maria Kalas(Panos Michalopoulos as the cousin) and the young man(Stavros Tzortzoglou) roams the joyful Athens city with a sailor desperate to find a place to sleep. A very funny taxi driver will pinpoint the big hit 'Zorba the Greek' by making his car dancing in the Zorba-style dance. Another driver will say 'get off the taxi' to show the tension surrounding the city. The movie focuses on a night at the opera where John Modinos conducts the orchestra. At that place the three heroes of the movie are together to find that a missing earing can cause too much trouble. Finally at the luxurious house Irene Papas will try to fall in love with Michalopoulos but a transsexual from the Syngrou avenue will upset everything. A movie with pure comedy elements with the magnificent simplicity of director Michalis Kakoyiannis. A movie that shows the relation between a mother,her son and her boyfriend. A movie on human relations where art and behaviour mingle in one melting pot to entertain and educate.
