Anecdotes
The prison scenes were filmed in the National Museum of Colombia. The building where the museum is located, was designed by the Danish architect Thomas Reed in 1850 and built in 1874 as the National Panopticon and served as a prison until 1948 When it was remodeled to become a museum.

A masterpiece of black humor.

It reminds me of Bunuel and Almodovar a bit...but this movie tastes different. It doesn't taste like a comedy per se because it is not but it doesn't taste like a drama because it is not either! It's a wonderful blend of silliness and betrayal in a society that condones both of them! The characters move like pieces of chess in a casual yet masterfully directed movie that looks like a match against the darkness and corruption that surround us every day.That's how Colombians survive all the bad stuff that falls on us everyday...smiling!
