Gimme Shelter

This is an example of a Japanese pink film that gets everything right. Director Hisayasu Satõ takes us into 24 hours of a dysfunctional family. Or more precisely, a dysfunctional 24 hours of a family. It's a pink film so there are several required sex scenes. Often those scenes are shoved into the movie but here they are each a part of the story. Most are very erotic if that's what you want.

The cast is excellent. The movie plays out smoothly from scene to scene, a combination of a good script and Satõ's direction. There's almost everything that could be in a pink eiga film including bondage, sex, rape and much more I don't want to give away. This isn't a cookie cutter movie by any means.

You can expect a little lite humor, drama, romance, horror and violence.

For someone that wants to try a pink eiga film, this is a great one to watch. Not perfect but you can see a movie doesn't have to have a big budget or a star cast to be great.
