Anecdotes
The character of Karlsson is Astrid Lindgren's most popular character in Russia, even back in the days of the Soviet Union. In the 80s, Russian ambassador Boris Pankin told Astrid that the two books found in most Russian homes where "Karlsson-on-the-roof" and the bible. To which Astrid replied: "Oh, dear. I had no idea the bible was so popular".

Lillebror

Just want to comment on the stupid name, Lillebror. It is Swedish (same word as in Danish and Norwegian) and means Little Brother. Therefor the name is, silly I agree, but the name means something. Haven't seen the movie for ages, and cannot remember anything from it. However Astrid Lindgren is one of the greatest children's writer in history. Remember to check out her other stories.
