Histoire
Le saviez-vous
- AnecdotesActor Charles C. Wilson, who played corrupt Mayor Ace Brockway. never lived to see the release of this film in the summer of 1948. He died at age 53 of an esophageal hemorrhage on January 7, 1948.
- GaffesWhen the Durango Kid shot the outlaw guarding the rifles in the stagecoach, he was chasing it from behind and the man in the stagecoach was sitting with his back to the rear of the coach. When he was shot, the man clutched his chest, so not only did Durango hit him in the chest from behind, but the bullet would have had to make a ninety degree left turn into the stagecoach.

Buckshot Thomas: How'd it go? How'd you expect it would go with me handlin' the deal? Those redskins wiped out that whole trading post!
Ace Brockway: That makes three. Let's see, there's two more to go. Why Matt Carter won't have a dollar to his name inside of a month!

Commentaire à la une
I have seen several Durango Kid westerns over the past few months on the Western Channel and they are usually somewhat entertaining with good writing and with a few twists. If this had been the first one that I had ever seen I would have never bothered to see any others. The plot was like a child's western and it lead up to nothing. What did not help was the unusually poor print quality. I wish I could have that hour of my life back.
