The series was shot at the Llanharan's Dragon Film Studios in Wales, in addition to certain other real world locations serving as exteriors, both for New London and Savageland edited in such a way as to be futuristic. Its likely that the Savage Land landscape was actually somewhere in the UK, most likely Wales, as background details such as the electricity pylons appears to be of the UK design. The series also avoids using distinct buildings in Wales that have previously appeared in BBC series shot in Wales such as (New) Doctor Who.
