Commentaire à la une
Reading the details for the line-up at the Cine-Excess 2020 festival this year, the detail that the co-star of Hard Target 2 (2016) was going behind the camera for the first time, made me extremely curious to witness this nightmare.

Note:Some plot details in review.
Based on the real horrors she faced from an encounter she had with a psychotic stalker, lead actress/ script continuity /production designer/casting director/ writer/ director Katrina Grey presents a incredibly eerie atmosphere, working closely with cinematographer Yan Frame to weave excellent fluid camera moves which melts the thin line holding Lucy's nightmares from entering reality.
Backed by a icy debut score from Grey's husband Randy Kalsi, Grey displays a sharp-eye for chilling set-pieces that slowly sink Lucy into the horror, via long stylish panning shots separating Lucy from crowds into a nightmare of murder.
Writing the screenplay as part of her recovery from the real trauma, Katrina Grey (who also gives a wonderfully expressive performance as Lucy) brings out a fantastic psychological depth to Lucy's nightmares.
Lucy's headaches leads to horrifying visions of the friends family she most trusts killing her, that keep Lucy on a knife-edge from which she falls into popping strong painkillers to try to block out the nightmares, that inadvertently release a confrontational reflection of Lucy's daytime nightmare.
