Writer James Gunn starts off talking about how he was a fan of the original 1978 movie DAWN OF THE DEAD and then he goes into discussion about getting the job for the remake. From here he talks about what he wanted to bring to the film as well as some death threats that he got once people realized that the man writing the remake to one of the greatest films ever made had also written SCOOBY-DOO. From here he talks about the characters, working with the director and him impression on the overall film. If you're a fan of Gunn then you know he always delivers some fun interviews and that's true here as well. There are some very good and fun stories told about the screen writing and especially the stuff dealing with the hatred that came with it.
