Spiral was shot on location in Victoria, BC. For one scene, the cast and crew went down to a local beach to film. After they finished editing the series, the producers discovered the beach was called Spiral Beach.

Web series of ridiculous quality

The quality of this series, from the acting of the ensemble case to the gorgeous cinematography to the tight writing and even the soundtrack, is ridiculous. The only bad thing I have to say about this series is that it is way TOO short. I hope some smart broadcaster or Netflix picks it up and turns it into a real series with enough length to do justice to the complicated story.

I love all the actors who do such a good job with each of their characters. I also love the idea that all the characters are so intertwined throughout their past lives and into the present. You get a sense this is just the tip of the iceberg and there is so much MORE to discover (including maybe more characters??). AND I WANT TO DISCOVER IT! Bring on more Spiral! Pleeeaase!!!!
