Linie 3 Live

Linie 3 Live is the trios newest show but also the one that can feel a bit lifeless. While they have always called back to older shows and the familiarity is comforting, it´s also very safe and even becomes a bit too safe at times in my opinion. But you still get a fun and well preformed variety show in the end and that´s worth the time you put into it, but don't expect the trio being on their highest.

This is the show where I feel the trio the least. They just don´t seem to have much energy and enthusiasm put into what they are doing. It feels like they just want to move on to the next joke fast and the energy is just turned down a small bit. I still fell like the trio preform at a high level but the soul I´m used to is just not there the same way.

The trio has always made callbacks to older shows and jokes, but it feels a bit stale here. It feels halfhearted and more of a thing they need to get over with rather than well thought out. Where the humor shines are the new jokes and when the trio can make each other laugh. It brings everything to life and make everything seem more genuine. Some of the new jokes also seem like they don't belong. The Toy Story sketch is fun and makes sense but can feel a bit out of place.

The singing is as always incredible and the vocal performances, harmonies and instrumentals are as always great. The mix of seriousness and joke songs work, and the trio can in the same show make you laugh but also move you.

This is still a fun variety show and if something doesn't land it´s on to the next thing so you are entertained none the less. But the passion seems like it´s not on the same level as it used to be and the show just doesn't strike me as memorable in the same way previous shows are.
