Comedy duo Matt Watson and Ryan Magee of Supermega lived with Markiplier early in their YouTube careers. They even edited videos for Markiplier's channel. Ryan's YouTube channel Cyndago, which he shared with his good friend Daniel Kyre, would often have Markiplier as a cameo guest. Due to the unfortunate passing of Daniel, Cyndago was put to rest, and Supermega was born. Now with nearly 1,000,000 subscribers, Supermega has grown immensely popular and has developed a dedicated, yet niche audience.
