Renting a large house together, a group of friends working as escorts in a popular hooking neighborhood finds themselves targeted by a maniac killing off the other workers in the neighborhood around them forcing the few girls left to battle the psycho stalking the girls.
This one wasn't all that bad of a sleazy slasher. Among it's brighter spots here is the fact that this one manages to offer up plenty of giallo homages along the way as it crafts some stylish work at times. The concept of the killer attacking prostitutes and sex workers allows this one to readily dwell in seedy back-alleys and sleazy motels, forcing this one to routinely capture the stalking through bright, neon-styled fluorescent lighting that gives this one plenty of ambiance and atmosphere. There's a lot to like here with the scenes of the models shooting their scenes only to have the killer turn to stalking them, and the initial attack in the motel where the planned sexual encounter turns into a surprising murder scene. The early stalking in the bathtub gives us another staple of the genre, and with the main feature showcasing a killer dressed in black with the requisite black gloves and hidden identity in the voice distortion gives this plenty to work with in that regard. Likewise, this one readily and ably dwells in nudity here, much like a regular porn at times with the willingness to display the full-frontal areas in detail as well as the groping, fondling or just plain erotic dancing given so frequently here. Seeing as how the killer frequently lets the victims dance and get erotically charged before their suspected sessions, the opportunity to focus on their nude form as frequently as it does here is a nice service and given the wide range of figures it willingly features throughout here that helps to give this a nice sense of equality as it does lean toward a specific type but still has something for everyone. With a truly spectacular amount of graphic gore here with the bodies being mutilated and carved up in fine fashion, these here make this one quite an enjoyable effort over it's few minor areas. One of the few problems here is the opening flashback, which is quite odd to have such a lengthy and detailed reminder of what happened previously for a movie of this length which is already short enough but to tie it up with the lengthy flashback as it does here means it has even less time to deal with its own issues. The other issue to really hold it back is the overall low-budget nature of what's going on since this one makes it pretty clear that the budget is incredibly low. Most of the blood-splatter here is obviously just sloshed around on the set without really being all that obvious that it's not really happening so that does tend to stick out about the gore. As well, the last issue here is the general aimlessness of the film which tends to go through a series of unrelated events designed strictly for gore or nudity and doesn't seem to bring anything else here beyond those issues. Otherwise, this one here wasn't really as bad as it could've been.
Rated Unrated/R: Continuous sexual scenes of varying intensity, Extreme Graphic Violence, Graphic Full Nudity, Extreme Graphic Language and drug use.
