I will just be completely transparent and say that I do not like Joe Bob Briggs or the Last Drive-In. I think he talks too much, like inviting over your film nerd friend who won't stop rambling about the director or what is about to happen next to the point of being interfering with your viewing experience. Creature Features differs in that Vincent, Tangella, and Livingston play their stereotypical gothic roles succinctly and you can even choose episodes that have less of them and more of a trashy B-movie.
Creature Features is a 21st century reboot of a show from the 1970s which played mostly 1950s horror movies late at night on network tv. If you get the app or pay for a subscription, you can access a few of these classic episodes along with modern Creature Features content.
Personally I don't like their silly gags enough to pay for a subscription to this show, but I strongly recommend checking out individual episodes on YouTube.
Creature Features has some films that aren't currently available on any other streaming service, which is the primary draw, but the hosts' brief playful antics also spice up B-movies that are a little too boring or a little too silly to warrant your full undivided attention. It's also a cheerful way to watch movies you've seen a couple times before.
