Dünnes Blut

Is blood thicker than water? One of the characters has a story to tell about that one. But as intriguing as that may sound and as intriguing as a lot of things do sound here (just the fact you get a genre movie other than comedy and/or drama from Germany is something to cherish), this may and probably will not live entirely to your expectations. If you have any that is of course.

And while the main actors do have some gravitas they lend to the movie, the either non actors or those unable to perform certain emotions almost bring the whole thing down. This will be especially true if you understand what they're saying and therefor can focus on their performance. For some this may be nitpicking but I do think it is something that we should point out.

Having said all that and having mentioned the potential, there may be something in the future of the ones responsible for the movie, if they can overcome certain aspects and refine others (character development, dialog/script issues to name a couple). A decent enough overall effort I'd say, but nothing that can be considered a must watch
