Wasted! La folle histoire du gâchis alimentaire

I had to write a review on this documentary. It is very eye opening on the waste that we as humans produce . It effects everything. If we used our waste for bettering us as a species instead of filling up landfills we are being negligent to the human race as a whole. The way some people are using this waste is unbelievable. It's used to make beer, feed the livestock which in turn makes the animal taste better and make them healthier as a whole. Most important it would stop hunger worldwide. In the richest countries on earth the hunger numbers are staggering. The people on the frontlines of this food waste are pretty amazing people. They find ways to turn waste into positives in every aspect of life. The waste that farms create is really eye opening. Over 50% of the crops harvested are even wasted . It seems that big corporations are starting to be more food waste conscious which is what needs to happen to make the ultimate change. Absolutely a great documentary narrated by the late great Anthony Bourdain. It's a great watch for children and adults alike. If we all are conscious of this problem we can help change this problem of wasted food, hunger, and environmental depletion. Food is a limited source on land and sea and if we are not conscious of how much we are taking and not putting back it will disappear in generations to come. Hope you enjoy this review !! Must watch.
