On April 8, 1958, Los Angeles County and Ventura County Sheriffs conducted a raid at 2236 Laurel Canyon Boulevard (then "Drive"), seizing 160 pounds of marijuana with a street value of $160,000 ($1,479,651 in 2021). Margaret's family runs a marijuana dispensary.
