Anecdotes
When submitted to the German ratings board FSK in February 2019 for its theatrical release, the film (131 minutes) was rated "Not under 18" without any issues. In May 2019, the distributor submitted a second version (105 minutes), expecting a "Not under 16" rating. Instead, this shorter version was flatly denied a rating, due to concerns of violation of §131 (glorification/belittlement of violence). This went event further when it was suggested that an appeal would not be successful and the film would not get a rating.

Interesting that the movie formerly known as Valley of the Scorpions, has a new title now. Maybe the marketing department thought this would be a good idea. I reckon it does sound better in English though.

The story itself is nothing new, quite the opposite. You get groups of people who have to eliminate each other. If you know German actors, you may recognize quite a few of them. They play different characters, which boils down to being a teenage boys wet dream. Not every teenage boy that is - and certainly some girls and others who will like this too.

Some nice effects and quite a bit of action round the whole thing up. If you are not easily offended, the movie might work for you ... just lower your expectations ... a lot.
