Allison is related to Kyra Sedgwick (9th cousin) and Bette Davis (Ruth Elizabeth Davis-8th cousin 2x removed) as they are all descendants of Samuel Whiting Sr. and Elizabeth St. John (The House of Plantagenet) who came to the Colonies. The Whiting family immigrated from England to Lynn, Massachusetts in 1636. Descendants lived chiefly in Massachusetts.
