Julie followed in the footsteps of her late grandmother and went in to the auto show world working for Toyota. Her grandmother Floreine was briefly an auto show model at the Concours d' Elegance in Monterey, CA back in the 40s. This was around the time same time she married Julie's grandfather and moved to NY where she became friends with Salvador Dali who insisted that he paint her portrait.
