Earned the mean-spirited nickname of "Soyaya" or "Soyaya Poyeya" after
her mispronunciation of the chorus of the song "Vivo por ella", the
Spanish version of Andrea Bocelli's "Vivo per lei", which she sang with
David Bustamante. Soraya, who pronounced "Vivo por ella" as "Vivo poyeya", said
afterwards that it had been because of microphone malfunction.
