[In an interview with Classic Images] I began scaling back on my career after accepting an offer from Marlon Brando to be his secretary, which was more lucrative and consistent. I did acting for decades, even when my sons were growing up. It's difficult in Hollywood to keep your career afloat, especially as you get older. Women my age aren't desired or wanted in Hollywood. It's a sad fact, but a fact nonetheless.
