The son of a ship's captain, on stage from 1902 and in occasional silent films from 1912. Worked mainly in the theatre during the 1920's, including appearances in musical comedies and operettas on Broadway. Remained in the United States, moving to Hollywood and appeared in bit parts under contract to RKO and Paramount. Returned to Germany in 1935 as a featured supporting player. Often billed as 'Reginald Pasch'.
