The 2022 version of this was a bit of a novelty. We were just getting back to some sort of sense of normal after the Covid-19 pandemic and you could see the benefit of having performances from the big West End shows to try and tempt us to part with an eye watering amount of cash to be blasted out of a theatre to see them live.
To try to repeat the trick again though two years later though seemed a bit of a rehash and an unneeded one.
It's good for people to be exposed to Musical Theatre, it's nice that this sort of show is being made, but there's more to theatre than just musicals and I wish these other types were given such exposure.
