I read the description for this film and settled down to watch what I expected to be a decent film. I like a good room com. Not sure how I made it to the end. I guess I was hoping that there was a twist that rescued the film from the dullness that I experienced.
There's an unfortunate trend in film making at the moment to address the LGBT issue and redress the situation from what it was years ago. This seems to be resulting in a plethora of films that without the association, would not reach muster otherwise.
The story line is weak. The comedy is notable by its absence. The editing has to be some of the worst I've seen in a long while - in one scene, one actor is holding a glass of wine that goes up and down in the levels from nearly full to nearly empty over and over in the space of a very few lines recited! Perhaps that was the comedy element...?
I watch quite a few films but I have to say, this has to be the worst I've stuck with till the sleep inducing end for a very long time.
