Anecdotes
The creative staff, including character designer Umakoshi and head writer Reiko Yoshida, previously worked under flagship Saint Seiya director Shigeyasu Yamauchi, either on the original Saint Seiya anime adaptation (director Morio Hatano was assistant director of its fifth film), or on his other works, such as Mushiking: Mori no Tami no Densetsu and Casshern Sins. They referred to Yamauchi as a strong influence in interviews.

Toei Animation: What happened here???

1st star because I'm fan of Saint Seiya since always. 2nd star because they added the REAL Saints again. 3rds star for the Ikki battle VS Aegaeon (the only dialogue and battle worth seeing).

I'm really disappointed with Saint Seiya Omega. This serie is more disappointing that Dragon Ball GT. The animation is not good, the history and characters are boring and took me a whole year to finish it because of it. I finished because I have seen all sagas of Saint Seiya. The armors looks like panties and also they changed the original design of the legendary armors.

No more to say folks.. just disappointed.
