Somos gente honrada

The tale introduces us two middle-aged friends, about fifty-years old , they are Suso (Paco Tous) and Manuel (Miguel De Lira) , they're unfortunate parents , one married, one widowed, one lost his business (a newsstand), the other a construction company in ruin . Economic crisis and default are creating distresses and misfortunes between them and their children (Maanuel Lozano , Manuela Valles) . Both of whom have to deal daily with family, debts, grievances, sadness ... One day they go fishing together , and encounter a package , inside ten kilos of cocaine . The premise is the following : ¿Handing them or do business with them? . As a lucky break can become your greatest misfortune.

This is an interesting Dramedy : drama more comedy in less than 90 minutes of length and yet with an air of naturalness and credibility rarely match . The film knows very well inter-cross these two genres , drama with brief touches of comedy , although the most comfortable note in the nonsense drama . It's less fun, but no less enjoyable , though some infinite sadness follows the film at times . The film moves in fits and starts most of which would be desirable , with more traps the viewer resists any kind, and some moments of enjoyment and others quite a few embarrassing . The flick gives a short description about lives of people of middle classes , dealing with two special families under the focus of two botcher fathers in crisis attempting to sell dope . There are moments of humor, but predominates drama and above all, the biggest problem with the film is an aimless wandering in its central part that makes the viewer to wander and for a few moments longer interested in a story that does not seem to know where to go until the ending and the drama gets back comes to mind . The picture is primarily supported on two sensational players, Paco Tous and Miguel De Lira , they give sensational acting . Both of them carry out their characters to perfection and show a look that says it all . Secondary cast is frankly well such as Unax Ugalde of Bon Appetit , Manuela Valles of Caotica Ana and Manuel Lozano of Butterfly . The film enjoys a breeze as well as moving final , and gives us much to think about it and in which doesn't deceive or dramatize unnecessarily. Along these lines, it is clear that producer Jose Corbacho and Juan Cruz as one of the screenwriters along with Alejandro Marzoa ,try to create a peculiar picture , though it reminds ¨Tapas¨ in many things . Apart from that , it has a touch Berlanga and Azcona that always feels good.
