Lucy Fry loves to play magical beings. She plays a mermaid in Mako Mermaids (2013) and a vampire in Vampire Academy. In this series she plays an alien. She also plays a role in H2O (2006) as a graduate from the school in the final episode. They used her real name for that part.

Recharging Energy did it for me.

Even without the predictability of this essentially being Mako Mermaids or H20: Just Add Water; albeit with aliens instead of mermaids, this show lacks a single talented actor/actress (excluding Java, the dog who plays Piper), and the extended dance sequence of episode 2 was enough to ruin the rest of the series for me.
