Please Make Me Lesbian! 2

Ma Zoe Holloway is up to no good in Part 2 of this Girlfriends series. It is unusual in that the 12 episodes released thus far all star Zoe and as her wan, innocent step-daughter Lily Carter, with many of the other actresses rotating.

After a recap from Part 1, we see Zoe returning to the sex shop pal Veronica Avluv introduced her to last time, and she buys toys and a leather paddle from salesgirl Melissa Monet, a brief cameo by the great actress/filmmaker, dressed trashily for the occasion.

Dani Daniels guest stars in a decidedly different role for the serious actress: she is a very timid, almost whimpering new co-worker who Zoe blackmails into having sex with her. Zoe the dom to Dani's sub makes for an engrossing scene, in which they are both active, but Dani mainly stays in character.

Avluv returns in a very poorly improvised scene, exemplifying Girlfriends' head honcho/director Dan O'Connell's blind spot in usually not bothering to employ a screenwriter. Veronica keeps repeating herself and resorts to so many euphemisms that this exposition material seems to drag on forever, until it finally crystallizes that she's out to seduce Aubrey Belle, a friend of Lily's.

Making this scene and even the subsequent sex footage as Avluv humps the girl is Belle's complete unsuitability to play an acting role, especially with no help from the director. She steadfastly refuses to speak no matter how many times (or ways) Avluv asks her a question, at best meekly nodding her head. At first this seems like a dramatic gimmick but eventually turns out to be mere incompetence. Similarly, although she has all the Sapphic moves down pat, she is completely inexpressive during the licking, fingering and tribbing exercise. I wasn't surprised to see in IMDb that she amassed hardly any credits in her brief XXX career.

Avluv's daughter Taylor Vixen seduces another unknown actress Aiden Ashley, whose career sadly consists of mainly bondage/fetish and those dreadful "porn-parody" credits. This scene is mainly filler, before that main event.

That's because the finale is one of those periodic Zoe humps step- daughter Lily, a crypto-incest raison d'etre for the series. Before the XXX occurs she spanks the girl with that paddle we saw her buy, and by the time the two beauties are through tribbing, it's clear that all is forgiven, at least until the next role-playing session. What O'Connell fails to do is to set up a cliffhanger or at least something of interest to ensure the audience will come back for more.
