For a short film it was truly a different kind of film, no stereotypes of black characters in this film. Very well acted and well written characters and plot, I can def see this made in to a feature film. The cast had something different about them and the action scenes with the boxing were awesome. The Lead Mikel is released from prison with his friends picking him up, everything is define right away. Giving up very little information on what he did to get throw in prison. The wife Vicky added a touch of surprise in her first reaction upon seeing him back and the little girl who plays his daughter Elizabeth was such a natural, you couldn't take your eyes off her. The film had this gritty look that took you to a different world that I think brought so much. And this is the best use of flashback I have seem in a film in a while. Every scene painted the story well. The guy Mikel who is practically in every scene is strong in this film, you can sense his reactions dictate the plot and does so very well. Mikel and Vicky had strong chemistry, it felt very real with what they was going through all the way to the bed. Last but not least the ending puts the whole film into great perspective.
