Absorbing Doc

I happened to see this film at the NGLCC (National LGBT Chamber of Commerce) Convention. I'm so glad I did.

As someone who programs film festivals, I often see independent films that could have been shorter. Not the case with this one. The 90 minutes are totally warranted.

It takes you on a roller coaster ride of shock, hope, heartbreak, and triumph. The subjects in the film are utterly compelling. Their stories are varied but they all share a common experience. Seeing them open up even more after the screening during the Q and A was a real treat. Highly recommended both as a means of education and an engaging story.
