What can I say? It was better than I thought it would be...but that isn't saying a lot. Most of the acting was dreadful, especially Dylan Vox. Jason Lockhart could not have overacted more...and yet I couldn't help but think that maybe it wasn't his fault. I don't know why, but I think the fault really is with director Charlie Vaughn. It is his job to control what's going on, right? Why didn't he tell these people to reel it in, or in Christian Ferrer case, to actually give more and stop batting his eyes? These vampires can come out in the day and at least they decided to just go with that. Filming movies at night is very expensive and tricky, so they didn't even try. These vampires practically worship the sun. There is some gratuitous nudity in a silly scene near the beginning that could have been so hot--almost was--and then just flopped. I figured with the full frontal nudity of the throw away characters then for sure we'd get the same from the stars. Nope. Not even a butt shot. End the final analysis I have to say that if this movie were not free when I saw it, I would probably ask for my money back. For sure I won't watch a Charlie Vaughn again!
