Long December

This film was artistically shot, beautiful to watch through and through. Acting was great- I was actually surprised considering most (ok, all, save John Mark McMillan) of the cast were unknown to me. A simple yet resonant story. Not a lot of bells and whistles in this movie, not a lot of bells and whistles needed. I can't believe music was driving 70% of the plot of this movie and yet it never felt once like a musical. Music was awesome throughout. Felt like lots of heart went into this, and it shows. Could maybe have done with one less reflective driving scene. Aside from that, I really enjoyed it. Might need to rewatch next Christmas.
