Biri Beni Gözlüyor

This Turkish rip-off of THE SHINING is perhaps one of the most redundant remakes I've ever watched. It lacks the intrinsic entertainment value of something like TURKISH WIZARD OF OZ and TURKISH STAR WARS, instead being a plodding and aimless story about a husband, wife and son moving to a lakeside hotel. Very little happens once they get there, apart from some overacting on the part of the husband and plenty of music ripped off from the likes of PSYCHO. They copy certain sub-plots and set-pieces to no good effect, and then it just ends, so don't expect a maze scene at the climax. It's one of the dullest films I've seen.
