"18" is a powerful film that really makes you think. It shows how easily the average Greek can flip from one extreme to another, how poverty and bad education can play a significant role to our choices.

The movie does a great job of showing how a young person without proper education can turn into a racist, bully, thief, and fascist. It's a clear warning about how vulnerable kids are to bad influences if they don't have strong values (even if they believe the opposite!) and education.

The film also doesn't shy away from showing the impact of family. It really hits home how much damage indifferent and disengaged parents can cause to their kids. The young actors were fantastic, playing their characters in a very believable way.
