Anecdotes
In the third quarter of 2020, Barkhoff finished editing on a fifty-five minute version of Doppelgang, but didn't like it so cut it to nine minutes and released it in November. Only after supportive pep talks did he decide near the start of 2021 to go back and begin editing it. He finished it a mere week prior to Death, My Darling. Interestingly, he had already confirmed a release of a third feature film by then when he announced the first Live Free Blu Ray set.
