Bella Bloom (Elizabeth Reaser) takes her bride-to-be sister Daphne Bloom (Rachel Boston) and the other girls to psychic Marina. The psychic tells Bella that she is either getting married to an ex within a year or be forever single. She sets out to find that ex while following signs from the universe. Her longtime friend Augie (Adam Rothenberg) and his girlfriend Vivian (Alexandra Breckenridge) are her neighbors. Cyrus (Amir Talai) is another neighbor/friend. She shares her dog Rufus with her last ex Elliott who doesn't want to get marry.
I remember this show. Mostly, I remember the one comedic vag joke in the pilot. It's probably one of the issues with the show which got trashed and the quick hook. It may have pushed network comedy too far. My personal issue has to do with the frogs. I don't like it being so on the nose and quite frankly the frogs themselves. What I like is Reaser or more specifically pre-Twilight Reaser. Breckenridge and Boston are beautiful babes of the 2000's. The initial premise is fun although it seems constructed for an one season run. That could be another problem since the show suggests a hard-out date. I like some of this show, but the quick hook keeps it from getting a fair shot.
