Le saviez-vous
- AnecdotesOne of the television commercials for the film was recalled after one day of airing because it accidentally credited Jessica Biel as Jessica Alba.
- Gaffes(at around 1 min) As the vampires get out of the helicopter in Iraq one holds an M60 Light Machine Gun, a belt fed weapon, but the weapon does not have an ammunition link going into it. There are no belts of ammo anywhere on the vampire and nowhere for him to carry it. Why carry a weapon with no ammunition?

Danica Talos: Enough! It's not funny anymore!
Hannibal King: No, it's not, you horse-humping bitch! But it will be a few seconds from now. See, that tickle that you're feeling in the back of your throat right now?
[Asher, Jarko, and Danica start coughing]
Hannibal King: That's atomized colloidal silver. It's being pumped through the building's air conditioning system, you cock-juggling thundercunt!
[Jarko and Asher cough harder]
Hannibal King: Which means the fat lady should be singing, right... about... now!
[pause where nothing happens]
Hannibal King: Heh, this is awkward.
[still nothing]
Hannibal King: Do you have a cell phone?
- Générique farfeluThere's a quick scene at the end of the credits of Blade speeding off to the next battle.
- Autres versionsThe Unrated Edition reinserts 2 major scenes amounting to 10 minutes. The first one is an exchange between Drake and Danica where both shared their past including Drake being 'there' during the crucifixion. He then seduces her. The other one is right after the final fight between Drake and Blade. The doctors were about to perform an autopsy on Blade when he just simply gets up as if 'resurrected' and leaves the morgue. However, the fate of the doctors is not revealed.

Written by RZA (as Robert Diggs) and Keith D. Robinson
Performed by Ol' Dirty Bastard (as Old Dirty Bastard) aka Dirt McGirt and Keith D. Robinson (as Black Keith)
Produced by RZA (as The RZA)
The picture provides frenetic action , visceral violence , spectacular combats and loads of blood and gore . The movie is full of energy when the struggles happen with impressive bounds , and overwhelming stunts , besides sensational blades -Katana type- duels . It's just another vampires story wrapped up with unstopped action and breathtaking scenes .The fights are well staged with phenomenal choreography and are made by the actors themselves who hold a hard training on martial arts and by stunts and adding computer generador effects .The makeshift from human to vampire is equally carried out competently , both make-up and especial effects .The motion picture was well directed by Terror and Fantasy expert director Guillermo del Toro.
It's the following to Blade I (Stephen Norrington 1998) and Blade II (Guillermo del Toro 2002 with Leonor Varela, Ron Perlman, Thomas Kretschman, Matt Schulz) forming a perfect trilogy . The plot rips off everything in sight including a confrontation between one bloodsucker (Dominick Purcell of Prison Break) as megalomaniac as the evil man from the Blade I (with Stephen Dorff , Tracy Sanna Lathan, Kris Kristopherson) .Besides the vampires countenance and vampires dogs faces are similar than Blade II . However , the film is darkest even than former parts, is more spectacular , more thriller, more focused than previous movies . The motion picture is based on the character created by Marvel Comic Group by Rolfman and Gene Colan and is well adapted by David S. Goyer (film producer along with Snipes) . It's a generally enjoyable tribute to vampires cinema and the action genre . If you're a former Blade fan , you'll like it . The picture results to be one of the most successful terror-action movie of the last years.
