First I'd like to explain the unique opportunity I had when seeing this movie. I, along with a few friends were studying in Cuba at the moment. We were all Swedish and curious about this movie never before mentioned, neither screened is Stockholm, Sweden. So when the film was announced as an excellent new release from the renowned country of ours, at the annual film festival of Habana, we just had to see it.
There where nothing compelling or unique about the plot: A couple of restless youngsters turn into the life o crime in due to lack of attention from school, parents or others.
But the lack of attention from the director and actors were just the same. the movie was just horrible, you sat in your seat begging for it to either end or for the cinema to have a "apagon" : electric breakdown.
The most sad thing about this experience was the excellent moment to really talk about problems in the suburbs and marginalized ares of the big cities of Sweden or any other country.
A lot of Latin Americans live in these countries, I am one of them. I would have preferred this movie never done from being screened abroad to a huge audience that definitely will leave the cinema with a lot of unanswered questions and with a headache from the horrible experience.
So if you really have to see this movie, remember the it never was screened, as far as I know i our country and it was never played on any of the TV channels in our country.
There is just to many movies similar, but so much more interesting and fun to watch. Instead of this try to see "SÖKARNA", or "STOCKHOLMSNATT". Also from Sweden and much more accurate.
