Memories of Murder

Memories of murder is not masterpiece by any means but I love it as it has a lot of great elements. First it stars the lovely Nancy Allen who does a great job as the lead in this role and Vanity who also does a great job as the villain. The film locations of Seattle and the Puget Sound area in the early 90s are a strong point for this movie as the scenes and visuals are very beautifully done. The writing and acting is also very good as the supporting actors do an excellent job in the roles they play like the daughter, therapist,and even the pet bulldog Winston adds great details to the film. Another great detail was the firearm used by Nancy Allen which was a large caliber Smith and wesson snubnose revolver not usually used by females in alot of movies makes this very unique along with the scenes during the final third of the movies makes it interesting along with a decent car chase scene. The only negative thing I can say about this movie is that it is goofy and ridiculous in a way in which you can't take a movie like this to seriously or else you probably won't like it. I would definitely recommend for fans of Nancy Allen and late 80s early 90s nostalgia.
