Funny and enjoyable screwball farce well shot in Madrid by the great filmmaker Fernando Trueba . Oscarized director Fernando Trueba , also writes the interesting and bemusing script based on the play by John Chapman and Ray Cooney . "Be Wanton and Tread No Shame" International title or "Move Over Mrs. Markham" deals with a bewildering farce starred by Paco Barroso (Santiago Ramos) and Fernando (Antonio Resines) , both of whom are owners of a children's novel publishing company about to go bankrupt . Then Paco has arranged through unorthodox means to hire the country's best-selling novelist , Adela Mora (Chus Lampreave) . The evening of the official signing , Paco asks for his colleague to let him utilize his home for a love tryst while Fernando wines and dines Adela . At the same time , Paco's spouse , Carmen (Carmen Maura) , will be taking her lover soldier (Pirri) to Rosa's (Ana Belen) apartment . From here troubles start , and things go awry , as Paco attempts to get rid of Silvia (Verónica Forque) , his secretary , and her wife Carmen . In order to solve the problems Paco decides to invent his own strategies . In addition , Fernando thinks Rosa is cheating on him with Oscar (Guillermo Montesinos) , who thinks Fernando is homosexual and having an affair with his pal , while the young lover thinks his sweetheart is a whore when is actually the professional called Raquel (Bibiana Fernández) who has a sexual meeting with Fernando (Resines) .
Earthy as well screwball comedy with amusing elements , antics , entertaining , contrivances , twists and turns ; including engaging performances , adequate set design and being delightfully filmed . ¨Se Infiel no Mires Con Quien¨ results to be other of the innumerable stories to deal with twisted loves , being developed in mirth , lively and vital style . An agreeable tale plenty of silly moments , moving feelings and fun finale . It is a light , wistful crazy comedy , easy to watch , and easier to love . ¨"Be Wanton and Tread No Shame" is Trueba's return to top form, with an intelligent and enticing script written by the same Fernando ; he uses fun situations to give us a good movie in a high sense and intimate sensitivity and that kept me entertained for the almost two hours of duration . It is well set and is as marvelously filmed as it is written and acted . This is one of those rare gems that does not stray from its purpose - to be a celebration of love and romance and humorous tale of some couples controlled by his wishes . The film is light and never somber , no small accomplishment from Fernando Trueba and his team . Filmed in his usual formal and luxurious style , without leaving a trace the joyful themes , in terms of nice developing and narrative excitement . Fine acting by Santiago Ramos , a roguish best-selling editor and Antonio Resines as his zealous colleague Fernando . Sympathetic acting by Carmen Maura as sex-hungry wife . Very good support cast formed by familiar players such as Guillermo Montesinos , Miguel Rellan , Chus Lampreave , Carles Velat , Pedro Reyes , El Gran Wyoming , Bibí Andersen , Jose Maria Cañete , and Miguel Rellán . Colorful and glimmer cinematography by Juan Amoros , one of the best Spanish cameramen , including luxurious interiors filmed in Madrid . Jolly as well as lively musical score by Angel Muñoz .
