Exciting Durango Kid western

Steve is a Government Agent looking for the gang that stole the U. S. Mail. When Old Henry kills an outlaw trying to rob the stage, the outlaws gun down Henry at his home. His son Jack, just back from the East, is taught to shoot by the Durango Kid. Steve appears to join the gang in order to catch them.

Good entry that eschews some of the singing and the comic antics of Smiley - who is an optician!!!!- is scaled down. The plot is well paced with enough happening to keep your attention, and the villains are a bit more edgy. Jock Mahoney plays an easterner who soon, thanks to the Durango kid, learns how to shoot. The finale is a cliffhanger with a bridge ready to blow up as a stagecoach races towards it.
