Due to the heavy amount of research both in the field of psychology (with the help of a licensed therapist as an assistant) and in the search for cartoon quotes suitable for the plot, as well as working out schedules so that the many different actors involved can participate in filming, each installment takes several weeks of continuous work on the setting, writing and filming that require all their attention, not giving them time for working on almost anything else until the release date.

That and the time required to research, write, film and edit each installment of the Sanders Sides (2016) series, as well as other YouTube shows and Sanders' music career, is the reason why this show's release frequency is significantly lower than other Thomas Sanders' productions, more than seven months between the first two installments.
