Anecdotes
After Black (2015) had caught the eye of Hollywood, directors Bilall Fallah and Adil El Arbi were approached to replace Joe Carnahan as directors of Mauvais garçons pour la vie (2020). Since no definite promises were made and they were doubtful that Bad Boys For Life would ever be greenlit, they decided to make this movie, which cemented their reputation as action directors.
