Anecdotes
The Cupcake Palace, at least the exterior, appears to have been filmed at the Sub Zero ice cream store at 62 Center Street, Provo UT.

Gaffes
At the beginning of Act III, Trish and Piper accidentally bump into each other in bakery which destroyed their cookies for competition. Trish sits down in despair. Camera moves to show only her and she holds her left hand on head. Then camera shows wide shot with all of tree them (Trish, Piper and Katie), but Trish doesn't hold her hand on head any more. Then camera again shows only her at close shot, and hand is again on her head. Then camera moves at wide shot again, and Trish doesn't hold on head again. This happens several times in quick succession, and it's funny how sloppy was done. They obviously have two different shots merged into one.

Rom-Com

The ingredients required for a rom-com. The leads must be likeable, they must seem realistic, there needs to be a strong supporting cast. This movie just works, the lady in the coffee shop works, the guy in the fire station works, I just found the whole thing delightful. A little humour, pastel colours and a nice backing score. Sure, this isn't going to win any literary prizes, but it shows that you can make a feel-good movie without countless sex, swearing and violence. If you just want a nice rom-com, you could do a heck of a lot worse than watch this. My quote of the movie "Actually, we find the time for things that are important" So true, find some time for this........
