Lesbian Sorority House

While most of its long-running hit series (Women Seeking Women, Mother Daughter Exchange Club) seem impervious to passing fancies in porn, Girlfriends Films keeps experimenting with new concepts. This stinker set at a college sorority named Delta Vagina Kappa (or something sounding vaguely like that, heard from an actress who can't enunciate) won't be around for a second helping.

Reason for its existence is rather simple: forgetting the specific subject matter, the hook is to populate GF product with all young women, as opposed to the older/younger, and heavy on the big, big boobs, format that's kept the label going for 15 years. That's to keep up with the times, as porn (read: gonzo) fans have become obsessed with jail-bait, so much so that most of the overdone MILF features of late have the designated MILF "teaching" a young kid (or likely daughter) about sex.

The eight women here are young and attractive, but those attributes are not enough to make for an interesting feature. It's all about hazing, but gutlessly executed by the anonymous director which robs the fans of that other popular gimmick of late, BDSM with the word "Shades" lurking.

The meanest or baddest girls are played by Abigail Mac and Alina Li, latter quickly posited to be merely a good girl under Mac's bad influence. The tormenting is extremely lame, almost laughable: Mac supposedly sticks a bottle (its neck only) up the ass of Claire Robbins, but we don't see it (in XXX porn terms, therefore it never happened) while Belle Noire is supposedly coated with mustard by mean Li, again not shown.

Robbins concocts a corny sort of revenge which backfires, all ridiculously predictable and unconvincing. Along the way we get to see other beauties like Veruca James and Ms. tattoo, Karmen Karma, mistreated. It's boring and stupid and not erotic.

Low point from Girlfriends Films' point-of-view occurs when a scene of Li humping Karmen with a big black dildo suddenly ends in the middle with a fast fade. Of course lesbian cinema doesn't have the crutch of boy/girl's traditional cum shot to signal "That's All, Folks!", but at GF we've become accustomed to slow, lengthy sex vignettes that end with a romantic clinch and smooch "cool-down" sequence - missing here. As a result, LSH clocks in at 128 minutes instead of approaching 3 hours in duration as most GF features do.

Also not helping matters is a clumsy, double-standard bit of racist joking that should have been left out. A girl talks to Alina about "stuffing kimchi in the c*nt" and other off-color references to Koreans, stupid and unfunny and not even in the ballpark, since Li is Chinese. That sort of garbage makes this a must-miss video.

The only bright spot for me was to see a new version of a favorite actress of mine, Claire Robbins. As a teen over a decade ago she was very impressive in Harmony Films including "Young Harlots: The Château", then returned to give some fine performance for B. Skow's boy/girl division at GF. Now with much longer hair she has a completely different look which was quite interesting. Only problem: at age 29 she's just a wee bit too old to play this role of sorority pledge.
