This is a slow-moving drama about a dysfunctional "blended" family--mother and second husband living with kids from their two respective marriages. In the opening scenes we learn of the death of a school girl. Is one of their sons a murderer? This question is asked over and over again in the most tiresome ways. The dialogue is repetitive and bland and the "investigation" hardly exists. Simple clues take forever to be analyzed, while most of the attention is focused on the mother's anguished, overwrought scenes. This film may strike a chord with superfans of the lead actress or mothers who worry their sons are killers. People who like murder mysteries will be bored. The film seems longer than it is.
