Tchekov

A reasonable version, having, as main virtue, not the acting, adaptation or few new innovations but the Tchekov play spirit . Fair acting, fair atmosphere, the familiar emotions and dialogue, sound of Russian behind the French dialogue .

Could be better ? Maybe , but , without impress, it represents the honest job of Valeria Tedeschi , not proposing a world and the pieces of a story but a state of reality. Elsa Lepoivre gives a beautiful portrait of Masha, Florence Viala proposes nice portrait of Olga and Bruno Raffaelli reminding more uncle Vania. This is the real basic motif for love this film who, obvious, has not the ambition to demonstrate anything.

The bad thing - maybe the conformism.

But it is Tchekov and the meeting with a familiar and loved univers excuse more.
