He attended the 2 day "Doin' It Low Budget" seminar with indie film producer legends Christine Vachon and Ted Hope (Killer Films - This Is That Films) in March 2010, Oslo. In February 2011 he attended the 2 day seminar with also legendary Ann Kroeber, the long time sound designer for David Lynch.
