To prepare for his role as an emaciated heroin addict in "9", he did not
eat for 10 days, drastically losing weight. Filming was to be in
late-May 09, but got pushed up to mid-May 09. He began fasting
immediately to prepare for his character. To the Director's surprise he
actually intravenously injected with syringe for the take, however
