Broke into the industry as a teenager by walking up to the studio gates and talking his way past the guard. The make-up department head of the TV series "Dynasty" hired him on the spot for the last season upon hearing that his last name was "Kolby" (the show featured the 'Colby' family). Klexius' technique and artful blending led to requests from Joan Collins, Linda Evans and Stephanie Beacham that he apply their make-up.
